VERY special Thank You to
Miss Thomas

The Armstrong's All-Stars presented the play "After Hours." It is a play about two lively mannequins, LuAnn and Patty, have been waiting all day for a chance to loosen up. When they discover fellow mannequin Danny in a mistakenly delivered crate, the night really gets interesting! The new mannequin on the block talks of his dreams of becoming a crash test dummy—He not only gets out of his box, he thinks outside the box when a pair of bungling burglars breaks in. With Danny taking the reigns, the mannequins show the crooks who the real “dummies” are, playing games with their minds, frightening them out of their wits and sending them on their way! To add to the fun and suspense, the burglars and mannequins are almost caught by the near-sighted security guard and some late-night window shoppers. The play was enjoyed by all who attended. The Armstrong's All-Stars would like to give a special "Thank You," to Miss Thomas, our director.

  7. O.K,
first thing is first: That was so much fun! We had such a great time, and we would go down to the lunchroom every day and practice, improve, and memorize. We had so much fun, and I'm so glad that we did it. Everybody had a part, so no one was left out, and it was so fun. Me, Camisha, and Tyson were the mannequiens, and we really had a great time.

When I was a manniquen, it was SO hard not to laugh. When any of the window shoppers came by, the expressions on thier faces was hillarious! It was fun, and we could tell others were having fun. Anyways, anybody who has never been in a play, join a school drama club as soon as you can, or even better, join the community, there are more people needed.
    (Ive been in both)

  8. Dear Mrs. Armstrong,
I would just like to thank you for letting me have such a fun year here at Freedom Academy. I am glad that I got you as my sixth grade teacher. Your truly my favorite teacher out of all of the teachers that I have had. I hope that I can see you next year and say to my friends, "That is Mrs. Armstrong, she is my favorite teacher and she is just so awesome." I get to pass through the halls next year and be like,"Hey Mrs. Armstrong! What's up?" I have loved all of the activites that we have done this year. I am sad to leave and I wish that you were going to be one of the 7th grade teachers next year. Because then, you can be awesome twice in a row! I have had an awesome year. My favorite activity this year was, well I have two favorite activities this year are: I LOVED scaling the planets, and, I liked doing the play. Thanks so much for letting us do that by the way. That was a great experiance for me. I have also liked doing poems and book reports. If I didn't then, that would be sad. Memorizing the poems have helped me memorize things a lot more easily now. Well, thats all I have to say. Thanks Mrs. Armstrong!!!!!!!!!!!

    Your #1 Fan,
